Did you know that you are Beloved? You are beloved by God! The Bible clearly states that! In this verse, in the greek it means that means you are esteemed and dear. The Lord regards you with deep affection. Does that sound like a perfect love story? It does to me! You are preferred before all things in this world and He loved you so much that He gave himself in your place. How precious you are!
That same divine love that was bestowed upon us, should overflow onto others with whom we come in contact with. In church, and in our every day life, we show love to others by being the hands and feet of the Lord. It can’t be done in our own human power. It can only be done with His strength working through us. Divine Love is an agape love. Imagine the love you felt in your heart for your baby when you first held him/her in your arms. God’s love far surpasses that. It’s not a human or sexual type of love. It’s greater and bigger than anything on earth we have ever felt. God puts that love in our heart to love and serve others. If there’s one fruit in our lives that is to be shown to others, it’s Christ’s Divine Love.
The word know in the Greek is ginsosko, which means to learn to know, come to know, get a knowledge of something, to perceive.
Our love towards others is proof that Christ lives and dwells within us. We know Him and it is a natural outpouring to those around us!
Make your day lovely in His Word!
