When I knelt at the altar and prayed for salvation at a little white church in Tacoma, Washington, it took a fledgling faith to believe. When God called us to the mission field in the Philippines, it took faith knowing the Lord would touch the hearts of the people. In my greatest trial, when my hubby had three brain aneurysms, it took great faith to simply exist while not knowing what the future held.
Faith to Believe
When our faith first bloomed-to this very moment of existing, it takes faith to believe in what we can’t see. We simply believe in the One who promises to meet our every need. Sometimes that takes risk. Sometimes it’s difficult.
The waves were churning and splashing as Peter and the other disciples were in a boat on the Sea of Galilee. It was easy to look at the earthly circumstances- fearing harm and, at the very worst, death, but Jesus appeared to the disciples and Peter did something BRAVE.
When Jesus called Peter to walk on the water to Him, He obeyed.
Do you want to walk to the God who stands in front of you or look on the circumstances that are around you? Jesus is beckoning you to walk on the water to Him!
Lovely Friends- Don’t look at your present circumstances. Jump out of the boat and walk on the water to Jesus. Do that audacious water walk to Jesus and don’t look back!
To help you hide God’s word in your heart, I’ve prepared these Bible Journaling Printables for you. There are several ways you can use these printouts. You can trace them in your bible by placing the paper underneath your bible page. You can paint them first and then glue them into your bible margin, that’s what I did in my example above) or use them as a bible bookmark. Each Bible Journaling Template is uniquely different and easily printed on one page.
It is my prayer that they are a blessing to you!
